Before and after
Drag the handle. On the left a bath towel, where the spill went straight through to the bed underneath. On the right the CouplesBlanket, with the surface below it still dry.

Great results, almost no effort
Genuinely the least amount of work for the biggest difference. Put it down, do whatever, ball it up, wash it. That is the entire process. We stopped thinking about it after week one.
The sherpa side is the surprise
Bought it for one reason, ended up using it as our normal winter blanket. Did not expect that. The waterproof part is just there when we need it.
Works, but order one size up
No complaints on the material, it does what it says and there is no plastic noise at all. But the L was smaller than I pictured on a queen bed and we ended up shifting around it. Should have taken the XL. Knocking one star for the sizing being easy to get wrong, not for the blanket.
The questions people actually ask
Does it crinkle like a plastic sheet?
No. The membrane sits between the flannel and the sherpa rather than on the surface, so what you touch and hear is fabric on both sides.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash at 30C on a delicate cycle with a low spin, 600 to 800. Tumble low or hang. No fabric softener, it coats the fibres and the face stops absorbing.
Which size do we need?
XL 57 by 85 inches covers a king. L 57 by 65 suits a queen if you stay central. M 40 by 57 is a one-person or couch size. S 28 by 40 is travel.
What shows up on the box?
A plain outer box with a shipping label. No brand name and no product name anywhere on the outside.
When does it get here?
It leaves in 1 to 2 business days and arrives in 10 to 14. Express is 7 to 10. We do not hold stock in a US warehouse and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
